55% Predict Alabama Will Win BCS Championship
Call it the battle of the Heisman contenders – Mark Ingram, Alabama’s star running back who won the coveted trophy this year, and Texas quarterback Colt McCoy who was a runner-up. Tonight the two top college football teams in the country battle for the national championship, and fans predict Alabama will be the winner.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 55% of those who regularly watch college football either on television or at the stadium think Alabama will win the end-of-the-season BCS title game.
Thirty-seven percent (37%) expect Texas to come out on top.
Well, who knows…..maybe those 55% will be sadly disappointed. Just a thought.

The polls said the same thing in 05. There is no way Texas can beat the *greatest football team* in college history (USC)
Will it be a tough uphill battle for Texas, absolutely. Impossible? No
