So now that the bowl games have been announced and Cincinnati, Boise State, and TCU are not in the mix for the National Championship game. Let the media and fans around the country bitch, moan, and complain. Various sports writers around the country are saying that Texas doesn’t deserve to play Alabama for the National Championship, based on last nights last minute field goal to beat Nebraska. What they failed to mention (which is no surprise) Alabama’s last minute field goal last week and Cincinnati’s come from behind win yesterday. Every team in the top 10 have had scares at one point or another this season. Mack Brown said it best last night. Had the Texas/Nebraska game been an SEC game it would have been considered a defensive battle. Since it was a Big 12 game, its being considered a below average game.

You guys are going to play Miami in the “Champs Sports Bowl”. Both come into the game 9-3, this is a great game for your Badgers to be invited to. National exposure against a solid team. :dancinghappy:

Texas Christian vs. Boise State is a joke. TCU vs Florida & Boise vs Cinci are much better games.
The BCS is just protecting their own conferences. They are done watching the Alabamas of the world getting their asses handed to them on national TV by an “inferior” team.
Wake me up when there is a 4 or 8 team playoff.

I’m with you I really wanted to see TCU vs Florida. I could care less about Cinci or Boise State. I plan on doing a break down of all their schedules here in the next few days.
I’m with my dad, move Iowa out of the Big 12 and insert TCU into the Big 12 and lets see what happens. TCU is a solid program but they are getting very little love based on their conference.

Move Iowa State out, that is. And now that Cincy’s coach has answered the lure of the Golden Dome, what becomes of the Big East? Oh, yea, the eastern block sports wtriters will still love ‘em! Oh, give me the days of the old Southwest Conference!! :sad:
