Ick's Corner

No, not in the sports world.  Sorry.  Nothing earth shattering in that realm, that I’m aware of.

If you come around here regularly, you’ve noticed that posts have been few and far between, almost to the point of non-existence.  Welp, there’s a darn good reason for that!  Mr and Mrs Ick, and Short Person have been packing!  Yep, the Ick in law, Brat and SP are getting the hell outta Dodge…..er…..Dallas!  THANK HEAVENS!

Now, I’m from Dallas, and I wouldn’t even live there anymore, so you know I’m thrilled for them to finally be getting my granddaughter out of there. 

Obviously, Ick hasn’t had much time to do any posting in the last few weeks since he’s been extremely busy putting in new floors in their new domicile.  I’ve seen pictures.  Looks good.  I’m waiting for him to come out here to Podunk, TN to do my bathroom.  I’ll probably still be waiting when I croak. 

So, with the packing and remodeling stuff going on, he really hasn’t had much time.  If you’ve ever moved, you know how much crap you accumulate even in just a few years of living in the same place.   With Brat working full time, the majority of the work was put on him.  I know Brat, real well….was there when she was born….took her dear sweet time with that too.  Heh.

Once Ick gets the internet set up down there in Outside Of Houston,  he’ll be back, in fine form, no doubt.  Not a lot of night life out there in the sticks, y’know.
