You can always quit rooting for that team. Or you can at least quit supporting that team by not buying their sponsers products or the team logo items. Put your money to better use. And don't be shy about letting them know why you no longer support them. It's past time they knew!! Twenty-five years and fifty pounds ago, I waited in a long line to meet a favorite Atlanta Braves player and asked him how do you like playing for the Braves. His reply (which I still remember word for word), "As long as I'm in the Big League and getting paid, I don't give a damn where I play", taught me to support the team, not the player.
