Add Memorial Hermann Hospital to the list of buildings removing tainted names down in Houston.  Enron Field became Minute Maid field after the Enron scandal, and now Hermann Hospital will remove Roger Clemens name from their *Sports and Athlete* building.  Fallout from his involvement with steroids doesn’t stop there, he has also been removed from the Giff Nielson charity golf tournament.

Despite its move to disassociate itself with the pitcher, Memorial Hermann Hospital said “Roger Clemens remains committed to working with us to champion youth sports and develop aspiring baseball players.”

If I had a child that was an aspiring baseball player, I would not want him involved in any program Roger Clemens is affiliated with. I’m quite sure that lying, and steroid use is not a fundamental of the game.  Before the Mitchell Report Clemens was a guaranteed first ballot Hall Of Famer, now its doubtful Clemens will every see his name in Cooperstown.
