It twas the night before our road trip and, oh wait wrong story. This time tomorrow the wife, Frank, Lajitas, his wife, and myself will be enjoying some tunes, after eating what I think is the best bbq in Texas. I could only be referring to Stubbs.
Doesn’t look like much, but they not only have the best bbq in Texas (my opinion) but they have a small outdoor venue set up in the back for shows. Tomorrow we are traveling up to see the Los Lonely Boys, with special guest Blues Traveler. After the show we will be heading over to 6th street to hit the local bar scene.
Now the last time a small group made the trip up for Liverdamage’s bachelor party, I took the guys to Stubbs, and Les Claypool (of Primus) was playing so once we finished eating, we bought tickets and headed to in for the show. After the 6th street bar scene, Liverdamage showed us the *cab hotspot*. This information will definitely be used tomorrow night, as we do not plan to drive at all. Since Stubbs is in walking distance of 6th street, and knowing this group, its probably best we let someone else do the driving!
Hey Liverdamage, should I bring you back some of what you deemed the *Greatest BBQ side-dish* you ever tasted???

You could have taken in the Baylor - Longhorn game.
Penn State is on the verge of being upset. Might be hope for the boys to get into the championship.

I don’t think either wife would have been up for the idea of leaving Houston, and Dallas at about 5 in the morning. Plus one of them is an Aggie! She was already upset with the amount of Burnt Orange she was subjected to this weekend. LOL
