Well Manny is now a free agent, and looking for the big payday. Seems the Dodgers are trying to show Manny the money, offering him $25 million a year. Is a 36 year old Manny worth that big a paycheck? I mean sure he is Mr. Clutch, and can be a powerful weapon in any lineup but $25 million a year? Course looking at stats, he is worth more then A-Rod in the post season. Sorry New York fans, but its the truth.
Manny’s agent, Scott Boras is not ready to draw up the contract just yet. He is still wanting to shop Manny around, but realistically speaking there are only a handful of teams that could afford that kind of price tag.
Boras says he would like to see Manny go to the highest bidder, adding *Gas Prices are up, and so am I*.
