Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones suspended indefinitely after latest incident
Troubled Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones was suspended indefinitely by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell Tuesday, a development that will cost the Tennessee Titans their fifth round pick in the 2009 draft.
The latest chapter of off-the-field trouble for the former Titans player, stems from an alcohol-related fight earlier this month with one of his bodyguards in a Dallas hotel.

Tennessee is affected because, under terms of the trade that sent Jones to Dallas last spring, the Titans were obligated to surrender a draft pick if Jones got into trouble and became unavailable to the Cowboys.
See? I knew it was a REAL bad idea! Not only did my ‘Boys get screwed over, the Titans did too. I honestly wish sports people would freakin’ grow up!

The Cowboys didn’t get screwed over to bad. The draft pick they sent to the Titans before the draft will be returned, and they no longer have to send the additional draft pick since he was suspended.
I hope were done with Pacman in Dallas, and if we are.. then its safe to return to the shake joints! :dancinghappy:

Yeah they did. If they had had a decent GROWN UP player, they wouldn’t be in the papers, their reputation wouldn’t have been even MORE tarnished. Why do you think I rarely watch them play anymore? :?

Seems like only last week that El Diablo (J.J.) said the Cowboys weren’t going to punish Pacman, and the incident was merely some trash talk that got out of hand. But now that the Commish has suspended him, he agrees it was the right thing to do! Can you say “split personality”? Cybil’s got nuthin’ on El Diablo!! Glad to see Goodell can at least see the writing on the big billboard. And don’t head to the shake joints just yet…he’s been suspended so he’s got a lot of free time on his hands!! :rotflmao:

Jerry Jones wasn’t going to punish the human waste receptacle for 3 reasons:
1) get the draft pick back from the titans
2) prevent the team discipline rules in tact… you can’t say “I can’t do anything about this, this is a league issue” and expect players to follow team rules.
3) prevent Roger Goodell from docking the Cowboys a pick for not inforcing team rules.
Now please cut your losses and cut the pacman. Hopefully that asshole hasn’t gotten too comfy in Dallas and moves somewhere else.

Give him a chance, he’s a typical young Cowboy. Don’t forget our Cowboy’s teams of the early ’90s were all like PacMan but never got as much attention.
Now no one is confusing PacMan for Confusious because he loves him some scrip clubs and watching the rain but at least he’s fighting with his own body guard and not the strip clubs bouncers.
Give him a chance to grow up or get thrown out, one day he’ll be as good in coverage as Sooner Great Roy Williams, lol.

Liverdamage and I have come up with the perfect plan to still enjoy the shake joint with Pacman being a Cowboy. We have scouted the schedule and marked all the away games as safe chances to go to the shake joints and help some local girls finish their ummm education!!! :rotflmao:
