Ick's Corner

Now before you laugh, the wife and I have a guilty pleasure. We watch American Idol, and we watched this years America’s Got Talent. When watching Idol, I think the most fun we have is watching the auditions.. now that is high quality comedy. When the wife and I first saw the act in the above clip, my wife made the comment *That’s the reason we need to keep music programs in schools*. I must say I tend to agree. These guys are great. We watched the result show tonight, this one crowned the winner of the show. The winner of the show receives a cash prize of $1 Million Dollars, and a headlining show in Las Vegas. I am sad to report these guys did not win, which came to a shock to the wife and I.

I have been saying for years the major problem I have with shows like this, is if its truly a talent search then you should not put the fate of these acts in the hands of a bunch of tone deaf 15 year olds with cellphones. Construct a panel of judges and let them decide. The group in the video is called *Nuttin But Stringz*
