I’m sure the morning after the red ass beat down is consisting of “It would have been different if Beanie Wells would have played”, and ” No matter what those rednecks from the Corner have to say, we are still blind Ohio State Fans”! So allow me to be the first to tell the Buckeye nation, enjoy rolling over the lesser teams, oh wait.. you guys pulled out a squeaker against a team you should have rolled last week.. my bad. Please enjoy the rest of your soft schedule, and pray that the powers that seem fit to OVER HYPE you guys screw another deserving team and give you the rematch of USC/Ohio State in the National Championship game! (See screwing of Missouri for Kansas to play in last years Orange Bowl as example)
If both teams continue their dominating play, then at this point it looks like we should see the USC/OU powerhouse match up for the National Championship. That’s right Bean I said it. Unlike some fans around the country, while I love my Longhorns I’m not blind to the fact that they have been less then stellar during the Chris Simms, and Colt McCoy eras. Just like Simms, Mack Brown is cramming Colt McCoy down our throats! I fully expect that come Red River Shootout weekend, OU will roll the Longhorns 63-3!! Every year Stoops proves why he would most likely be one of the only college coaches to come up to the NFL level and be just has successful as he is at the college level. Trash talking is a must when this game comes around each year, but lets face facts.. A realistic Longhorn fan can go ahead and pencil in a “L” come October 11th.
Mack Brown will continue to run the same 6 plays on offense, and his defensive coordinators will never figure out that they need to blitz more then once every nine plays. Out coached, and over matched is becoming a trend that we Longhorn fans see all to often come Red Rivershoot Out weekend. *Emailing Mack Brown* Vince Young is not going to come back and save you, please stop by your local bookstore and pick up a copy of
This would be MackBrown the night before the Red Rivershoot Out
This would be Mack Brown during the game!

I have no ill will toward Ohio, Back during the Woody Hayes days I kind of admired them, That being said, WOW… Is there any team in College Football that can put up a fight against USC? Hell I think the Bengals would get clobbered too

Shhhhhh! listen. That’s the sound of at least one UT fan that’s watched a game outside of his own state.

Someone quick; get Liverdamage 2 doses of REALITY— STAT!
There is NO team I repeat NO team that can beat USC.. EXCEPT USC.
Just like last year, if USC gets in it’s own way, they can drop a spot or two… but they are the best team in College football NOW.

I think you’re correct in the USC – OU assessment, but way off base if you think Stoops would make it in the NFL. Just look at Pete Carroll. Besides, they have the best programs money can but, and don’t have to worry about a salary cap!!

@ Lajitas..
Did you get hit in the head by falling debris over the weekend??? While I will agree with you on the salary cap comment.. Sadly, people look at the failure of Saben and Spurrier, and think Stoops would follow. I bet you would take Stoops over Kubiak!!!! :rotflmao:

“There is NO team I repeat NO team that can beat USC.. EXCEPT USC.”
I’m pretty sure you meant to say this “There is NO team I repeat NO team that can beat USC.. EXCEPT SMU.”
all kidding aside, Stoops is the most qualified nfl caliber coach the ncaa currently has to offer… not that he’s Mike Holmgren or anything, but he’d do well with a talented team.
