Ick's Corner

Well it was field trip night around the corner this evening, with yet another outing to Highland Park Community College.. aka SMU. We were minus a Liverdamge, but did add a small person. My daughter got her first taste of SMU football. Since Phil aka Tech Support is an alum, we were able to score some free food catered from Joe’s Crab Shack. Enjoy the pictures…

Small Person aka my daughter had to have a picture of myself and Phil in the inflatable SMU helmet. She took the picture, which explains the blurry image. Apparently I did not get the memo we were going to an SMU game, since I decided to wear burnt orange. The wife was giving me a hard time before Phil came to pick me up. To which I responded.. “Hey my Horns are playing tonight while were at the SMU game”. She found it humorus that I  was wearing a Texas hat, shirt, and croc’s. Phil only shook his head as I got in the car.

There is a Small Person somewhere behind that face mask. She was sporting her pink Dallas Cowboys jersey. I have to admit, I was shocked, we actually found a few other girls running around with pink Cowboys jerseys on.

Phil remembered how Liverdamage and I love to sit in the endzone, so he decided to get us tickets down in the endzone this time. However, he put us right smack dab in the middle of a bunch of TCU fans. This is saying alot, but TCU fans are almost as miserable to be around during a game, as Philadelphia Eagles fans.

Notice the gentleman in the purple shirt, third over from the left? This prick obviously did not get the memo that TCU should steamroll SMU. Every play was like it was a National Championship game. Add in the fact that he would not sit down, when he was less then 4 rows back, he was more then annoying.  Phil told me he was proud of me for not smacking the sh*t outta this little prick. Even small person was getting annoyed by him. Unlike Phil, small person wanted me to say something to him. After TCU went up 35-0 this little prick turned around, and started waving to all the SMU fans that had decided they had seen enough, and started to leave. We didn’t stay much longer.

Other then the annoying TCU fans, a good time was had by all. Small Person has decided at age 9 that she wants to go to SMU. *shakes head* Knowing my daughter, she will have changed her mind by morning.
