Off topic for a sports page I know, but hey when its your site you can pretty much write about what you want right? So the list of the nominees for next years Rock And Roll Hall of Fame class was announced today and below is a list of the nominees

Now in order to be considered for nomination, the act must have released its first single or album 25 years prior to being nominated. Everybody got that? Ok so here is the problem. Stevie Ray Vaughn was left off this list. How in the hell can you nominate Chic over Stevie Ray Vaughn?? WTF is that. Run D.M.C. I have no problems with, they along with Grand Master Flash, and Curtis Blow help pioneer R&B and rap. I have no problem with Metallica, solid nomination.. Jeff Beck another solid nomination. Kinda iffy on War, hey don’t get me wrong, I love me some War, but not sure they along with Chic should have been picked over Stevie Ray Vaughn!!!
Are the AP Pollsters, and BCS affiliated with the Hall Of Fame committee?? *shakes head*

Chic???? You gotta be shittin’ me!!! They should have waived the 25 year rule the day after the helicopter crashed and inducted Stevie right then!! It must be affiliated with the AP or BCS pollsters. That or Aggies and Sooners!!!
