The Do’s
- Spends your hard earned money on our over priced concessions.
-Spend your hard earned money on *insert favorite teams name here* merchandise
The Dont’s
• Drunkenness and signs of alcohol impairment that result in irresponsible behavior.
• Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.
• Interference with the progress of the game, including throwing objects onto the field.
• Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel.
• Verbal or physical harassment of fans from the opposing team.
“The in-stadium experience is critically important to the NFL, our clubs and our fans and it will be a major focus this season,” Goodell said in a statement. “We are committed to improving the fan experience in every way we can — from the time fans arrive in the parking lot to when they depart the stadium.”
Basically translated (We want your money) The happier fans are, the more money they will spend!
Now I will say this, when I have taken my daughter to games in the past, there is nothing worse then some foul mouthed fan behind us cussing at the top of his or in some cases her lungs. Then when you ask them to refrain because there are little ears present, your told “I paid for my tickets, I can say whatever I want.. Freedom of speech baby!! Yes I have actually been told this at a game. Small person actually had to keep me from snatching this fan over the seat and beating the living hell out of them. Freedom of speech, and buying a ticket share ABSOLUTLEY nothing in common. I am all for these new rules, will make going to games alittle better for the younger fans. Here is the only problem I see with this.
Who is going to be in charge of monitoring fans? Will it be a security guard on a power trip? Also if you have ever been to a big rival game I.E. Cowboys/Redskins game, then its second nature to exchange trash talking with the opposing teams fans. MOST of the time its all in good clean fun. The same rule does not apply with Philadelphia Eagles fans. They have got to be the WORST fans to ever love a team in the history of sports!
Now if we could just get the league to implement the *Hey you down in front, sit down* rule.. We would have something!!
Mr Ol Broad and I know all about this one!!! We spent half our time at this years Cotton Bowl yelling at the people in front of us to sit down! I’m all for people getting excited when a big play happens, but do we really need to stand up during a team timeout???

I think the most fun I ever had at a Cowboys vs. Redskins game was made possible due to vicious trash talking the whole time.
I think that rule needs to be adjusted.

Under no circumstances should any NFL Stadium be subject to:
Fans standing
Over cheering
Nonviolent razzing of opposing fans
Drunkenness arising from tailgating (drunkenness from $8.25 vendor beer is fine)
Anything creating an original or identifiable atmosphere.
Anything creating a sensation of fun.
in addition, all seating in any new stadiums must be considered a luxury box.

It is a sad commentary of our society if you ask me. When you are around young folks a common courtesy should be NORMAL behavior. NOW we have to make a rule.. *shakes head*
I have been to games where I was a little emotional and yelled a few vulgarities, but never around the under 13 crowd. and NEVER if there was a female within ear shot.
Kind of sad that Southern Hospitality has been replaced by selfishness.
Roberts last blog post..Is this not an INVASION?

@ LD
I knew you were going to mention *Overcheering*. Remember when we went the Cowboys/Giants playoff game, and the Cowboys were on about the 5 yard line, and the crowd would not shut up while they were trying to run a play??
Its not like Adams needs any help with the false starts!!! ;)
