I made the mistake of watching the Packers/Bengals game tonight, and I was tired of hearing about Rodgers first start, about 5 minutes after I tuned in. “Oh Aaron has handled this situation perfectly, he has not snapped at any reporters”.. SHUT UP!!! Then we had to hear the Favre/Rodgers comparisons for most of the game.. Then if you were dumb enough to stay tuned into ESPN for Sportscenter.. You got to hear Stuart Scott break down Rodgers first 4 possessions, and compare Rodgers stats to Favres. Ok Stuart, incase you missed this with your ONE good eye.. Rodgers has played clean up minutes for the most part during his career. He has been the back up to a QB that started 275 consecutive games! Rodgers numbers will not compare to Favres anytime soon, if ever. So please stop kicking us all in the crotch with your little stats that we could give a damn less about! (BOO-YA)
If this is what we have to look forward to during the Monday night opener against the Vikings.. I may have to watch lifetime that night, that would be less of a kick in the crotch then how magical this night will be for Rodgers.. BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!

I’m a Packer fan and I’m tired of it. I just wanted to reach through the TV and punch Kornbuttheiser in the face. Let’s just get on with the season and STFU!!!!!

I absolutely hate the Monday Night Football announce team!!! Can we get Dennis Miller back?? He may have been bad, but atleast it wasn’t a weekly kick in the crotch like listening to Kornholer!!!! *sigh*

Did someone say “Packers are in a rebuilding year?” The might as well since Rogers isn’t Farve. BTW who gives a shit? Seriously, wasn’t Cody Carlson the next Warren Moon. Chris Chandler was OK except when a D-Lineman got near him he got injured just running away.
Know this Packer fan, your benched blossom wont be able to handle it. He got clip board elbow and headset hair. Which means, he’ll hold the ball in front of him waving like an idiot to call plays in the huddle and his helmet will never fit right not having that padded top and wire coming out of side.
Leave it to Farve to get the Jets to the playoff to make them lose a first round pick and retire. Packer fans should be fucking extatic that he’s willing to go to another team and have that team give you a first round for a player you don’t even want. Brett is a pro and is helping his team even when the whole world thought he wasn’t.

I agree Favre gave the Packers the best chance to win this year, but I do not think Rodgers will be quite as bad as you say.
BTW the only way that the Packers get a first round pick for Favre is IF he takes 80% of the snaps and the Jets make the Superbowl. That aint even close to happening in even the most cracked out persons mind!
Also don’t get it twisted, if you actually bought that crap Favre was shoveling during his press conference about wanting to be a Jet, and the Jets were never NOT an option for him, then I have a bridge I’ll sell you! Favre had two teams on his radar, The Vikings, and The Bears! The Vikings moreso then any other. Brett himself knows that the chances of the Jets actually making it into the playoffs, much less the Superbowl are slim and NONE!
The Packers on the other hand, even with Rodgers make the playoffs this year! Clipboard elbow and all! With Donald Driver catching passes, even you sir could lead the Packers to the playoffs!!! Don’t count the Pack out before the season even starts. Are they as good as the were last year, That remains to be seen. Remember Favre was AVERAGE for the 3 seasons before he went ape shit last season!! 13-3 No, playoffs, Absolutely!!
Is Aaron Rodgers Brett Favre, No? Remember this, Steve Young wasn’t Joe Montana, seems to me that Young has a Superbowl ring, and a bust in Canton.. Young had to climb out from beneath Montana’s shadow, We shall see can Rodgers do the same!

Well, you gotta remember, Young didn’t take Joe’s spot. Joe gave it up to him. Also, the 49′s didn’t draft Young, TB did because they sucked and Young was good. 49′s never would have got that talent to train under a super stud like Joe Cool.
Packers are good but will more than likely not make the playoffs. Can you understand the words coming out of my mouth?
