Dunn Heading To D-Backs???

August 11th, 2008 · 4 Comments

Adam Dunn is leaving a losing Reds team, and heading to a FIRST place Diamondbacks team. This coming after Ken Griffey Jr was traded to the White Sox at the trade deadline. With these two trades, this tells me the Reds are in *Rebuild mode* Dunn heads to Arizona for 3 prospects. I wonder if the reds are taking a page out of the Texas Rangers book?? ;)

I think that was a great move, Arizona needs to bulk up a if they want to be able to compete with LA and even have a chance to play with Chicago Cubs in the post season.

LA is nibbling and with Torre at the helm and Manny being Manny Ariz needs a bat.

Hopefully the page they take is the one Texas forgot, when you rebuild there should be a time that you are REBUILT.

PS.. Going to the Angel game tomorrow, be sitting First base side field level CLOSE…. I’ll try to get a picture of Mark T in a WINNING Uniform for you. LMAO

I gotta hand it to the Rangers, they have stuck with the plan of rebuilding.. Now if we could get just get some good pitching.. *sigh*

Get some pictures of the game, but if I were you, I wouldn’t the battery life to take a picture of Mark T., unless he was on fire, and Vlad was pissing on him to put him out.. Now that might be worth the battery ;)

LOL, the Reds are taking a page out of the Marlin’s book. Can you say ‘Fire Sale’? They’re gonna have 20 more prospects by the time the playoffs start because of waivers. What they need to do is give all of the prospects 5 year deals so that they have no choice but to stay with them when they are good for 2 years and then screw them in arbitration for another year. But that is only the smart thing to do.

The Marlins have made it a point to have the lowest payroll in the majors for several seasons now. Dontrelle *Mile Wide Strikezone* Willis was the highest paid player on their team with a staggering $3.5 Million a year before he was traded.

The Reds are definatley in rebuild mode, but I doubt it will get as bad as the Marlins. Just me though..
