At the end of the season Yankees Stadium has a date with a demolition crew. So I ask you, if you could take home anything in the stadium as a keepsake what would you take? Would you take home plate? Would you take a former Yankee greats locker? Maybe something out of old George’s offices? While the Rangers where in New York for their series with the Yankees last week, it was reported Ian Kinsler bagged up some dirt. I think I would have aimed alittle higher, but hey.. its dirt from Yankee Stadium. I expect this years All-Star game will be emotional for many fans, and players. I’m sure the streets will flood with fans tears later this year when the stadium is blown up.

I don’t think that will be up for grabs when the stadium is torn down.. LOL

I wonder if Kinsler’s bag of dirt might actually have worth someday because of who bagged it…

If I remember correctly from what I read, he bagged it up for his dad as a keepsake.
