This day in sports is brought to us by Dwight *Doc* Gooden
1984 - Dwight ‘Doc’ Gooden (New York Mets) became the youngest player to appear in an All-Star Game as a pitcher. He was 19 years, 7 months, and 24 days old.
*obviously this would be pre-drug days for Doc Gooden*
This has been a production of “This Day In Sports” Please join us tomorrow to see where history will take us.
