Athletes and celeberties alike were in attendance last night for the ESPY awards. This has apparently become quite a big award event over the years. It was held at the Nokia Theater, directly across the street from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Apparently it was built with all of Shaquille O’neals bricks, during his time as a Laker. Atleast that’s what host Justin Timberlake claims. Justin was relieved to find out Shaq was not in attendance last night after telling that joke.

I will say this, from what I was able to catch of the ESPY’s, Timberlake did a pretty good job as host. I think his best joke of the evening was talking about the war between Shaq and Kobe, and about Shaq’s freestyle rap that made Youtube. He also made reference to the whole *Kobe can’t win a title without Shaq*, with which he followed.. The Celtics apparently didn’t need either of you! :)
