Episode 4 opens with Brian McNamee’s camp claiming keepsake syringes, and other paraphernalia will test positive for Roger Clemens DNA. Major concerns about chain of custody will most likely be Clemens attorneys defense to try and derail this latest attempt to prove Clemens lied under oath. I still wonder if Clemens had it to do all over again, knowing what he knows now. Would he have taken the same approach as his long time friend Andy Pettitte? Pettitte is also expected to testify for McNamee when this all goes to trial. I’m sure Clemens never thought for one second that his affairs with Mindy McCready and John Daly’s ex wife would have every come out.

I will say this about the dirty little keepsakes from McNamee. IF Clemens is found guilty because of syringes that were kept in McNamee sock drawer for the last 7 years. It will be like Al Capone being convicted for tax evasion. Plus think about this Clemens has already testified that McNamee did inject him with B-12 and cortazone shots, so whats to say that McNamee didn’t do the old *switch-a-roo* with the needles after injecting Clemens?

Regardless of the outcome of this trial, Clemens will never recover from this mess.
