Episode three opens with a statement released by the Packers. Seems the Packers found their stones and have released a statement saying that Favre would not be released, he is welcome to come back to the Packers. BUT no guarantees that he will be the starting QB next season. BRAVO!!!

I guess the only thing we can do is sit back and wait for Favre to say no. I doubt very seriously Favre is going to come back unsure if he will be the starter. Of course I would seriously consider carrying Rodgers clipboard if I was going to make $12 Million dollars to do it. I know Favre doesn’t care about the money, but hey if your going tarnish your legacy by becoming a possible back up, $12 Million dollars could boost your shattered ego some. The Packers saying Favre would not be released, and could come back is their way of nicely saying please Brett, just go away.
