Well that was quick, episode two opens with Brett Favre now asking for his out right release from the Packers. They didn’t show me enough love, someone hug Brett he is in obvious need of one. Liverdamage said it best
“I’ve seen less drama on 90210… this is football! every year its the same shit with this drama queen.
I hope greenbay doesn’t release him, as he requested, and has him hold the clipboard behind rogers the whole season… think of the fun that would be!”
Sounds like a wonderful idea buddy but, oh we can’t do that to Brett he has a legacy. Yeah so did Emmitt Smith before he made the comment “I was a diamond among trash” after he went to the Arizona Cardinals so he could pad his stats, and collect a fatter check. *Screw you Emmitt*!! Hope you never forget how so called trash seperated your shoulder your first game back in Texas Stadium? Diamond among trash my ass!!
So I guess my next question is which member of the Green Bay Packers front office is going to have the stones to step up and tell their franchise, future Hall Of Fame quarterback NO! The Packers are in a no win situation with the fans in Green Bay. If they out right release Favre the fans will riot. If they bury him on the depth chart then the fans will riot. There are three ways to look at this situation.
1. Out right release him and let him go to another team most likely in the NFC. Each and every time you play whoever signs him, he make you his bitch *(Example A) Brett against the Bears*. Yeah that will rally the fans and make them see releasing him was the right move.
2. Bury him on the depth chart and proceed as planned with making Aaron Rodgers your starting QB. About mid season the Packers could either find themselves winning, all is right with the world in Packer land -OR- The Packers are struggling and you can continue to answer question such as *Why is Favre on the bench, and not playing*.
3. Favre comes back and leads the Packers to a Superbowl win, and after the season he will hold his *Kiss Farewell* retirement press conference again. Kiss has toured on the Farewell tour for several years, Favre has held retirement over the Packers heads for several years!!
This whole situation is starting to remind me of the *highschool breakup*! You know back when you wanted to break up with someone, but you didn’t want to go through the drama. Never wanting to actually come out and say *Hey its been fun, but yeah.. I’m done with this*. In this situtation the Packers need to just come out and say *We have found someone new*. Hopefully this will be a peaceful divorce, I would hate to see this get messy. I’m just glad there are no kids involved. ;)
In closing I would like to just leave you with this.. *Disclaimer* I am not trying to kick any Packer fans in the crotch… This was to good not to include though, let the entire video play. :)

Plea to Brett Favre: Please stay retired and let the Packers, the NFL, and ESPN move on. You didn’t get the love back you expected, and now you want to act like the rejected high school sweetheart and strike back by going out with your ex’s rival. Come on, grow up. You had a wonderful career, even with your last pass in the NFL. Leave the fans to enjoy the wholeness of your career instead of ruining it by trying to play somemore. Nothing good will come of it. You will create havoc on any team that signs you. Get over the interception. You’ve certainly made enough money in your 17 years to pay for plenty of Wrangler jeans to go fishing in. Go fish!! Or if you truly just miss the game, go be a coach somewhere. It doesn’t even have to be in the NFL. Go teach a kid how to be a winner. Be thankful every day when you get up, that you can, in fact, get up. You’re not a broken down ex-NFL player who struggles just to walk to the bathroom for his early morning constitutional. The Packers need to move on. Maybe Rodgers isn’t the guy to make everyone forget you. Probably nobody is. And eventually, ESPN will find something else to salivate on. I’m sure Chad Johnson or T.O. will provide them some material, because I’m sure they are getting pretty jealous of all the attention you’re getting right now. Please, please, please stay retired so all of us can escape from this soap opera you are directing!!
