Its been a busy day around Baseball..
C.C. Sabathia is heading to Milwaukee for 3 prospects and a player to be named at a later date. I guess the Brewers are hoping with the addition of Sabathia to their bullpen will help them cut into the 3 game lead the Cubs have on them.
Seems Alex Rodriguez is about to become the most eligible bachelor in New York. Earlier today Rodriguez wife filed for divorce in Miami. Seems the marriage is to far gone, and she claims Arod has been unfaithful. Over the weekend reports started flying that Arod and Madonna were a hot new couple, while Arod’s wife was shacking up with Lenny Kravitz. Now if it was anyone other then Arod… This wouldn’t even be news.
The Texas Rangers are sending 4 players to the All Star game. By now we have all heard the Cinderella story of Josh Hamilton, the player battling back from drug addiction. Well I am happy to report he has been named as a starter. Rangers players heading to New York for the All Star game include Josh Hamilton, Michael Young, Milton Bradley, and Ian Kinsler. Way to go guys! Finally the Ranger fans have something to be excited about. In case you haven’t noticed.. the Rangers are actually on the baseball radar. ;)

I’m glad those four made the roster. There was also a good case for Padilla as well, but it’s not too surprising he didn’t make it with his track record of hitting players.
I would like to add though that I also really enjoy the fact that Boardgame (a.k.a. Milton Bradley) made the team (and will be starting as well!).
