Apparently Oakland learned from last years mistakes, that left Jamarcus Russell unsigned for months. Oakland and their first round draft pick, Darren McFadden come to terms on a 6 year $60 million dollar contract with $26 million guaranteed. My big question is where the hell is Oakland getting all this money? Major big money contracts this offseason would include
Darren McFadden 6 @ $60 Million
DeAngelo Hall – 7 @ $70 Million
Javon Walker – 6@ $55 Million *Stupid move of the year award goes to Oakland for this one* This is even worse then Jacksonville’s and Baltimore’s first round trades in this years draft combined!!!
*Walker was released by Denver last week after catching 26 passes for 287 yards and no touchdowns in eight games last season. He started the season with two 100-yard games before missing two months following a third operation on his right knee.* I rest my case!! STUPID!!!
I guess Oakland should really be grateful their fans are loyal, and will still sell out every home game no matter how bad the team is doing. Tom Hicks wishes he could say the same for the Texas Rangers!
