Lets count all the issues the Giants are having this offseason..

-Michael Strahan announces his retirement

-Shaun O’Hara blast members of team for holding out

-Plaxico Burress is holding out for a new contract

And now we have a cranky Jeremy Shockey, upset with the fact that the Giants wouldn’t let him be on the field during the Superbowl, hiding him away in a luxury box. He is also upset with the fact that the Giants apparently spread rumors he wanted to be traded. I would have to agree with taking Shockey off the field for the Superbowl, while he can be a motivational person on the field at times, other times he can be a royal pain in the ass. Now as far as being traded, lets face it.. the Giants had a few good offers while shopping him around days before the draft, and didn’t trade him. Why? I have no clue. Kevin Boss showed some great promise as an up and coming tight end in the league, when Shockey went down last season. Boss also doesn’t come with all the baggage. I have never been a Jeremy Shockey fan, I personally think he is over rated, and a major pain in the ass. I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if he is traded.
