I am happy to report that Lajitas, Mrs Lajitas and I were successful in our quest to find Springfield Raceway. Now when I say old school track I mean old school. Quarter mile oval dirt track.. In my opinion its racing at its purest form. There were probably about 400 to 500 people out to enjoy the saturday night races. Metal bleachers, grass fields, and people having a good old time. Enjoy the pictures.. Silent E, I know your jealous ;)
They were running several classes of cars last night including..
-Hornets
-Bombers
-Modifieds
-Late Models
and Legends
Now this was high quality entertainment!!

Man you talk about wearing dirt.. Lajitas was wearing a white t-shirt and by the time it was all said and done, the top half of his shirt was brown!! Great times!!!
