I was having a nice discussion about the Lakers with Bushwack the other night, while I was watching the Celtics/Pistons game. He is sure this is a Laker championship season. After going back and forth for a few minutes I make the comment “Shut Kobe down the rest of the team will go with him”. Well.. Bushwack please hand me some mustard because I must now eat my words… *sigh*
Last night the Lakers go down by 20, at one point, and I must say I was thinking game one goes to the Spurs.. WRONG.. Kobe had 2 friggin points in the first half, and somehow he and the rest of the Lakers climb back from 20 down, to eventually win the game. One thing kept coming to mind for our conversation the other night while I was watching this massive comeback.. *The Lakers are too hungry this year, for them not to win it all*.. Well Bushwack was right.. The Lakers looked awful hungry last night. The Lakers are the only team left in the playoffs I worry about the Celtics playing.

Kobe scored 25 points in the second half. That’s hardly keeping him in check. Had they held him like they did in the first half, the Spurs would be up 1-0.

Well Ick, the rust was evident in the first half, I was throwing shit at the tv at work, but when Kobe started to penetrate, and the 3′s started falling for booya, things started looking up. Can’t wait for tonight, Lakers by 10.
